ROUTESIDEKICK PRIVACY
RouteSideKick Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 7, 2026
Nebijane LLC (“Nebijane,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is developing RouteSideKick, software for recurring field-service businesses. RouteSideKick is in development and is not yet generally available.
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with RouteSideKick. The separate Nebijane Privacy Policy covers the Nebijane marketing website, Contact form, and affiliate program.
This Policy is not legal advice and does not claim formal certifications such as SOC 2, PCI, HIPAA, or GDPR certification.
1. Two Kinds of Information
RouteSideKick involves two different kinds of information, and different parties are responsible for each:
- Business account information about the RouteSideKick customer business and its users, which Nebijane uses to provide and manage the service. Nebijane is responsible for this information as described in this Policy.
- Customer Data that a RouteSideKick business customer enters about its own customers, service locations, appointments, and team members. The business customer decides what to enter and controls this information. Nebijane processes it on the business customer’s behalf to provide RouteSideKick.
If you are a customer of a business that uses RouteSideKick, or a technician or team member of such a business, that business is generally responsible for how information about you is collected and used.
2. Business Account Information
We may process:
- business name, business time zone, and account settings;
- names, email addresses, email-verification status, and login credentials of account owners and other users (passwords are stored only in hashed form);
- user roles, permissions, and membership status;
- team invitations, including the invitee’s email address, an optional name, the role offered, and who sent the invitation;
- pricing or sales inquiries, including name, company, email address, team size, and message; and
- communications with Nebijane, such as support requests and early-access feedback.
RouteSideKick includes code for paid subscription plans processed through a third-party payment processor, but paid plans are not currently available for purchase. If they are made available, card details will be entered with the payment processor rather than stored by RouteSideKick, and RouteSideKick may store billing references such as a payment-processor customer identifier, card brand, the last four digits of the card, and subscription status.
3. Customer Data Businesses Enter
Depending on how a business uses RouteSideKick, Customer Data may include, as implemented in the product:
- customer records and primary contact details, such as names, phone numbers, and email addresses;
- service locations and structured addresses;
- recurring service plans and their schedules;
- scheduled appointments, including reschedules, skips, and cancellations;
- technician and team-member information, and assignments of technicians to appointments and routes;
- routes and the order of stops for a service day;
- visit statuses, the technician who recorded them, and the times they are recorded, such as started, completed, or unable to complete;
- optional reasons entered when an appointment is skipped, canceled, or rescheduled;
- free-text property access instructions, office-only property notes, and service instructions; and
- customer and service-plan spreadsheet (CSV) files uploaded for import, which are kept only temporarily while the import is reviewed and processed.
Free-text fields contain whatever the business enters. Businesses should enter only the information their team needs to perform the service.
We do not claim that every possible future feature exists today. Only information related to features actually available and used is processed.
4. Technical, Log, and Security Information
Like most web applications, RouteSideKick may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device information, timestamps, and application and security logs. Session records may contain an IP address and browser information, and IP addresses may be used to limit repeated sign-in or form attempts. We use this information to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
RouteSideKick also keeps records of actions taken in the product, such as which user created, changed, assigned, skipped, or completed a record and when.
RouteSideKick may use cookies that are necessary for signing in and keeping sessions secure. If first-party product analytics or non-essential cookies are introduced, this Policy will be updated to describe them.
5. Features Not Described Here
RouteSideKick does not currently include time-clock or payroll-hours records, photo uploads, signatures, messages sent to a business’s own customers, maps or address geocoding, or collection of device location, including continuous location tracking, so this Policy does not cover them.
If Nebijane introduces any of these features, this Policy will be updated before they are made available.
6. How We Use Information
We use RouteSideKick information to:
- provide and operate RouteSideKick for the business customer;
- authenticate users and protect accounts;
- provide customer support and communicate about the service, including early access;
- detect fraud, abuse, and security threats;
- improve product reliability and usability; and
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use Customer Data to advertise to a business customer’s own customers.
7. Service Providers and Sharing
Nebijane may use service providers to host, secure, deliver, and support RouteSideKick, such as hosting and infrastructure providers, email providers for account emails such as verification, password reset, and team invitations, and, if paid plans are made available, a payment processor. RouteSideKick pages also load fonts from a third-party font service, which receives your IP address and browser information when a page loads. Providers are expected to process information only as needed to perform their services for Nebijane.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or government requests; enforce agreements; protect Nebijane, customers, users, or the public from fraud, abuse, or security threats; or evaluate or complete a business transaction involving Nebijane, subject to applicable law.
8. Data Retention
We retain RouteSideKick information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain customer accounts, meet legal requirements, resolve disputes, and protect security.
If early access ends or a business stops using RouteSideKick, the business may contact Nebijane about its Customer Data. Fixed public retention schedules may be published later when product rules support them.
9. Security
Nebijane uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to a business software product.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We do not claim absolute security or unsupported certifications.
10. Business Customer Responsibilities
Business customers are responsible for:
- having the right to enter information about their customers, service locations, and team members;
- providing any notices to their customers and team members that applicable law requires;
- configuring user access and permissions appropriately; and
- responding to privacy requests about Customer Data they control.
11. Privacy Requests and Rights
Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have rights regarding personal information about you.
If a business that uses RouteSideKick has information about you, please start with that business. We will assist the business customer with requests about Customer Data as appropriate.
For requests about business account information, contact Nebijane through the Contact page and choose Privacy or legal. We may need to verify identity and authority before completing certain requests.
12. Children
RouteSideKick is a business product. It is not directed to children, and children are not intended to use it or create accounts.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as RouteSideKick, our providers, or legal requirements change.
When we make material changes, we will update the effective date shown above.
